一 |     中新网8月24日电 据最高人民检察院微信公众号消息，新疆维吾尔自治区政协原党组成员、副主席金之镇涉嫌受贿一案，由国家监察委员会调查终结，移送检察机关审查起诉。    (ECNS) -- Maoming in south China's Guangdong Province, known as the country's "lychee capital," has concluded this year's fresh lychee export season, with the final shipment cleared by customs and sent to the United States on Wednesday, according to Maoming Customs.    Despite this year being a lower-yield year in the lychee production cycle, Maoming exported 8,450 metric tons of fresh lychees worth 177 million yuan ($24.7 million), up 3.3% and 52.6% year on year, respectively. Both export volume and value reached record highs.        Maoming is China's largest lychee-producing region and has a history of lychee cultivation spanning more than 2,000 years. The city has about 1.45 million mu (96,667 hectares) of lychee orchards and has developed a large-scale, industrialized and diversified lychee industry.    Fresh lychees from Maoming are exported to countries including the United States, Canada, Singapore, Australia, Belarus and the United Arab Emirates.                         。最高人民检察院依法以涉嫌受贿罪对金之镇作出逮捕决定，并指定由湖南省岳阳市人民检察院审查起诉。近日，岳阳市人民检察院已向岳阳市中级人民法院提起公诉。         　　检察机关在审查起诉阶段，依法告知了被告人金之镇享有的诉讼权利，并讯问了被告人，听取了辩护人的意见。

二 | 检察机关起诉指控：被告人金之镇利用担任新疆维吾尔自治区计划委员会市场处副主任科员，新疆维吾尔自治区发展计划委员会经贸流通处副处长，新疆化工(集团)有限责任公司党委委员、副总经理，新疆国际经济合作(集团)有限责任公司党委书记、董事长，昌吉回族自治州党委副书记、州长，新疆维吾尔自治区政协党组成员、副主席，新疆维吾尔自治区人民政府国有资产监督管理委员会党委书记、副主任等职务上的便利以及职权或者地位形成的便利条件，为他人谋取利益，非法收受他人财物，数额特别巨大，依法应当以受贿罪追究其刑事责任。               【编辑:于晓】。
